Hope's pov
I awake to banging on the broom closet door I then here aunt pertuns voice "up up get up now"
I look over at my twin as he sits up and dawn's his glasses sudenly I hear stomping feet followed by loud bangs on the stairs from my cousin Dudley jumping making dust fall "wake up pottters were going to the zoo" we look at archives and shake our heads
As harry gose to leave the broom cupboard Dudley pushes him back felling into me
"Here he comes the birthday boy" we hear aunt Purina say followed by uncle Vernon's vocie "Happy birthday son"
As me and Harry walk into the kitchen aunt pertunra looks down at the pair of us "Why don't you just cook the breakfast and try not to burn anything" she says to harry before looking over at me "And you clean up the mess"
"Yes aurt pertunra" we both awnsers at the same time knowing there is no point arguing black
"I want everything to be perfect for my Dudleys special day" she cooes walking over to Dudley as me and Harry look over at each other
"Hurry up bring my coffee girl" uncle calls
"Yes uncle Vernon" I answers grabbing the coffee jug filling his cup
"Ain't they wonderful darling" i hear aunt Purina asks showing Dudley his presents
"How many are there" he shouts in a threatening manner that both our aunt and uncle seem to ignore
"36 counted them myself" uncle Vernon awnsers
"36! But last year last year I had 37!" He says sounding like the spoilt kid he is
"But some of them are quite a bit bigger then last year" uncle Vernon speaks up
"I don't care how big they are" shouts Dudley
"Now now this is what we are going to do is when we go out we are going to buy u 2 new presents how's that pumpkin" she whispers to Dudley making me and look at each other roiling our eyes
After breakfast or for me and Harry leftover breakfast we got ready both in one of Dudley's old tops "are you ready to go" I ask harry "yeah let's go before they punish us" harry says as we leave by the cupboard under the stairs.
We go to climb in the car with the others but is stopped by uncle Vernon "I'm warning two now any funny business any at all and you won't have any meals for a week. Get in" he warned us we look at each for a second it's not like we go looking for trouble it just seems to find us
All the way to the Zoo Dudley kept pushing and squishing us into the car door/ window i was so close not careing if i didn't eat just because if I don't eat but I couldn't do that to harry so I just tried to keep my cool
"Make it move" Dudley shouts as we stand by the incloshure that holds gaint snake
"Move"uncle Vernon says as he starts to tap the glass
"Move" Dudley shouts as he starts to bang on the glass
"He's sleeping" harry shouts
"Hes boring" Dudley replies walking away with aurt pertunra and uncle Vernon
"Sorry about him he dosnt understand what it's like lying there day after day watching people press there ugly faces in on you" harry tells the snake making me giggle that's when the snake lifts it's head to look at the both of us then he looked like he understands us
"Can you hear us" I ask staring at the snake in bewilderment
The snake node it's head at us
"It's just I've never talked to a snake before do you i mean do you talk to people offen" harry asks at us Shake head
"You from berma aren't you was it nice there do you miss your famierly" I ask thing about my pearent the snake tealts it head towards a plack with 'born in captive' ohh "I see"
"that's us as well I never know my perants either" harry tells the snake
"Mummy daddy come here you won't belivie what this snake is doing" I hear Dudley shout running over Pushing harry over in the process
I rush over to Harry. We both glears hard at Dudley who is now pressed up at the glass sudenly the glass diapers making Dudley lose his balance and falls in while the snake escapes stopping at us "Tanksssss"snake hiss
"Any time"we say at the same time still in both aww and shock as it slivers away it followed by mean screams and crud in terror "Snake!" "Ahhh"
We borh turn back to our couson we turn to see Glass has reappeared trapping Dudley is now traped
"Mum mummy" he screeches from the inclusher pounding on the glass
"Ahh" aunt pertunra scream after seeing her little Dudley "Help get him out please" she crys and in the mits of all this caous me and Harry who is still on the ground look at each other smiling while letting a small giggle
At this Uncle Vernon looks over at harry and me and I know from that look we are In trouble.
After they were finally able to get Dudley out we left for home with Dudley still shaken up
"It's alright sweetheart" I heard aunt pertunra coo at Dudley as we begin to walk into the house
"Ahh" me and Harry shout as uncle Vernon grabs mine and Harrys hair
"What happened" he shouts at both of us
"I swear I don't know. 1 minute the glass was there then it was gone it was like magic" harry awnsers
"It was uncle I sware it was" I answers as uncle Vernon pushes us into the broom cupboard Veron then locks us into the broom cupboard but I still could hear uncle voice shout through the cupboard
"There's no such thing as magic"
