Hermione's POV

So apparently Draco and I fell asleep tangled together on the sofa in the Room of Requirement, because when I woke, I had no clue where I was until I spotted Draco asleep, his arms around me. I struggled to turn in his tight grasp, to face the clock. I squinted and the tiny numbers came into view. 7:00. An hour until the first bell rings. Only an hour to sneak back to our common rooms unnoticed, get dressed, get our supplies, eat breakfast, and do whatever else. I untangle myself from Draco and poke his face and side, trying to wake him.

"Draco...Draco....." I sing softly in his ear. I poke him hard in his side and his eyes fly open. I dive behind the couch before he can see me.

"W-what? Where am I? Is anyone there? What's going on?" I sneak up behind and whisper in his ear,

"Morning, sleepyhead!"

"AH!" Draco screams and then whips his head around to face me. "Granger! Why would you do that?!"

"That's what you get for being the last one asleep!" I laugh. "We have less than an hour until the first bell rings, Draco. What are we going to do? Breakfast, gathering supplies, everything inbetween...." I trail off, as Draco's face lights up with a grin that you'd be hard pressed to ever see again.

"Hold on, I have an idea!" He hops up off the couch and disappears behind the mirror in the corner of the room for about five minutes, then comes back, two house elves trailing him.

"What's this?" I ask.

"This, Granger, is our breakfast." I now realize the elves are carrying plates of coffee, french toast, syrup, fruits, and other scrumptious breakfast foods. Draco plops down next to me on the couch again, and wraps his arm around me, tugging me into him. Meanwhile, the house elves set the plates down in front of us and leave quietly the way they came.

"So...bon appetit, Granger." I don't think twice as I dig into the delicious meal, and I hear Draco snicker at my excitement.

"Oh, shut up, Malfoy! I'm hungry!" He laughs even harder at this, but he's already eaten half of his plate, as have I. "Seems like you were too." He playfully glares at me, but there's a faint smile underneath it. I roll my eyes and swallow the last bite of toast. "Alright, well, that was amazing, but now we have to go get our books and change clothing. C'mon let's go."

"Hold up." Draco grabs his wand and says, "Accio Books!" Nothing happens. Then I hear a faint noise and I have to duck as several books fly over my head and land at Draco's feet. I stick my tongue out, actually kind of mad that I didn't think of that first.

"I was just going to suggest that..." I complain.

"Mhm...sure you were. You're just not as smart as me. Get on my level, then we'll talk." He says jokingly. I grab my wand and copy Draco, and my books coming flying into the Room.

"Now....what about our clothes?" Draco smirks at me and grabs my hand, pulling me off the couch. He tugs me to the opposite wall, where two wooden doors have suddenly appeared.

"Well, go on! Open them!" Draco insists. I pull them open and inside there is two full sets of uniforms, one Gryffindor, one Slytherin. I shake my head in exsaperation. He really has thought of everything. I snatch the Gryffindor set and run behind the mirror to change. I can't help but imagine what Harry and Ron must be thinking. They must think I've fallen asleep somewhere or have gotten lost. I'll have to tell them Peeves forced me to spend the night in the Room of Requirement. They should believe that, I hope.

"Granger? Are you done changing yet? We should go." Draco calls.

"Yes, I'm done, hold on!" I call back. I shove my old clothes underneath the mirror, in the hopes that they'll be taken care of. I come out from behind the mirror to find Draco has completely remade himself. Robes pressed, hair flattened. He looks like a god compared to me. My robe, on the otherhand, is rumpled and my hair is a frizzy mess.

"Gosh, Granger. You look like a mess. Come here." He beckons me over to him, and I don't refuse. He spins me around so my back is facing him, and I feel his slim fingers rake through my hair. Draco brushes my hair with his fingers and then twists it into a bun upon my head.

"There. Now you look better." I turn to face him and smile,

"Thank you." I peck him on the cheek, then grab my bag and head to the door. "Time to go, c'mon." He sighs, but doesn't put up a fight. He knows I would never miss a day of classes for the world. We exit the Room of Requirement and he entwines his hand in mine. I blush, but don't pull away. Anyone could see us here, but they're all probably down at breakfast or heading to class. We walk hand in hand down several staircases, until we reach the second floor, which is where my first class of the day is. Neither of us want to leave the other, but we will see each other in Potions after lunch. Just as I am about to remove my hand from his grasp, none other than Luna Lovegood rounds the corner. We both jump back, putting as much space as possible between us. Luna eyes both of us, considers our behavior and how close we were earlier, then her lips grow into a large smile, her eyes full of what is unmistakeble happiness.

"Oh, don't worry! I won't tell anyone about you two! I think you're rather cute together, actually! I've thought that since the first day I saw the both of you. You're perfect together." She winks and turns back the opposite way.
