A man

Around and around the bandage goes,

Around my chest,

To hide the woes.

Every day wrapped anew,

The pain it causes,

If askew.

I bind secretly,

So people won't stare,

Freakishly. 

And think he's a woman,

And say:

That is not god's plan,

For her to dress as a man.

So the pain,

However bad it is,

Means it is obvious and plain,

That I am a man.
