poetry is a system of codes decorating her body;
words are carvings which trace the exteriors,
while blood-cell-chained letters brand the interiors.
premature clots disperse, light mists turning the etchings
along her bones into hairline fractured graffiti.
she breathes engravings, scriptures
that won't be deciphered and are bound to papier-mâché walls
which form a psychological maze—her mind.
