Sara was an ordinary Muslim Arab girl who wanted to live her life like any child.
Kindly, her country's political side wasn't steady. She was from Yemen.
Historically, Yemen used to be South and North. In 1990 a new government came to make that two sides, one! She lived in the south side 'Aden' when they were already one, but then people didn't like it and wanted to change it so they started to REBEL.
A lot of criminal violent stuff happened and people still fought until it became a war, but then they found that it wasn't working so they stopped.
Yemen's government is corrupt and Sara is a girl who describes a lot of other Yemen kids.
She didn't rebel, she never planned to, but she paid so much for nothing.
