I know you’re gone
But I haven’t forgotten you
Nothing is wrong,
I just wanted to write to you
You haven’t been around
Your absent presence
I know you’re heaven bound
I miss your essence
Life is like a cave
You’ve been my candle light
In the darkened wave
You guided me right
But you’ve dismissed from me
That makes me blinded
My path I cannot see
I’m absent minded
Is this a lesson?
I need an answer
Honest confessions
Angelic dancers
Am I on my own?
Guess I’m flying solo
Independence shown
Through your shining halo
I will not let you down
I will get through this cave
No more messing around
Inside this darkened wave
I am the candle light
The light my path will pave.
