So I'm starting this off with a rant, and of course it will be a rant about well, stories; and not just wattpad stories (though mainly about) but just stories in general.

So I have had my fair share in written works and I have to say it's a bittersweet experience just like everything else in this world. You got your really good stories, the okay stories, and the not okay stories. Now I'm sure people are thinking as they read this, 'psh. Yeah I know' or 'uh, what does she mean by that? Is she saying some stories are bad? There's no such thing as bad stories!' And let me tell you now, I totally disagree with the people who are thinking the second statement. I'm making this very clear right now; there are bad stories out there. Sorry to break it to you but there are; and people who think there aren't are oblivious fools. Saying there's no such thing as a bad story is like saying there's no such thing a bad drawing or painting or such. If things aren't bad, how are you supposed to improve?

If you still don't get what I mean, here's an example: A Demon named Stephanie –It's a story I had written a while back when I first joined wattpad. Good. Freaking. God. That story was complete shit, just, just shit. It was a bad story, and I realized that and removed it online. Afterwards I read up on better books from more experienced authors and wrote something better. You see? Bad stories leave room for improvement. And that pretty much applies to anything you do really. It's okay to make something that's crap, realized it's crappy, accept the fact that it's crappy, and make something better the next time around.

So sit on that for a while.

Moving on to my actual rant. Ugh. I have to admit I haven't been reading or really even active on wattpad for a while, so I wasn't sure if I was in the right to do reviews or not. But you know what? Thank god I wasn't, because lord knows I needed to look at this site with a fresh set of eyes. I completely forgot how clichéd, unrealistic horribly written, and just plain old annoying some of these stories are. And how challenging it is to find a decent story.

I get it okay? This isn't a site of professional writers, demographics...blah, blah.... teenage girls...blah, blah. Okay, I get it. But people.... do better. And I know, like 40% of it has to do with my personal preference, but I shouldn't have to move mountains, separate seas, and shoot a couple of baby ducks to find a decent story. What counts as a decent story you ask?

Decent Story: A story that has complete sentences, with words that are written out completely; has the grammar of someone at least in 9th grade, and has a plot that doesn't make me feel like I have to shoot a baby duck.

I feel like that leaves a lot of room for a lot of stories, don't you? But like geez, all I find are One Direction FanFics, Alpha werewolf, pregnant...vampire baby, something, something, whatever, whatevers. It upsets me, and once again the thought of baby ducks with bullet holes in them crosses the mind. I don't like it. I like ducks, especially the baby ones. I'm sure some of you are thinking who am I to judge, and you probably think 'I bet her stories aren't even that great.' So I'll let you know now, they're not, far from it. I can come up with some pretty good ideas but when it comes to actually trying to get them down, I kind of suck. But I read a lot and I know a good story when I see one. I've gotten my fair share of reviews and I believe I can manage to conduct one pretty well. I'm pretty positive on when to be critical and when to give a compliment, and I personally want to help some of you writers out, if you let me of course.

If you get a review from me it's mainly going to consist of plot, character development, realism, pacing, etc. The review will basically be somewhat of a revised play-by-play/ overview of my thoughts and suggestions for your story. It wouldn't be grammar based like some reviewers do, because frankly I suck at grammar, and for me to judge someone else's would make me look like an ass hat, plain and simple. But if you're writing a story like: "N OMg Stacy, he, likez, in luv wit u, u kno????" obviously, I'm going to call you out on it, and I probably wouldn't be the best person to ask for a review anyway.

So with all of that said, PM me if you are interested in getting a review from me, I already have one in my queue (fun fact: well it was a fun fact for me anyway. Queue means waiting in line, so if you own a tumblr and have ever wonder why they call it a queue, well, there you go! That's why! You tumblrs know what I'm talking about). The same goes for any interviews or random thought topics you might want to hear from me.

Just saying now I have the potential to be pretty harsh. So if you take offense to anything I say, sorry (but not really) Just take it with a gain of salt and keep on moving.
