I long to feel the grains
Of sands pouring from my hands
And let the cool sea breeze
Caress me with the warmth of the sunlight
Wishing for the day to slow down with my hands to seize
As I try to cherish such lovely and peaceful sight.
I adore hearing the sound of the waves
Playing like serenades in my ears
With whispers of the rustling leaves
Slowly calming the depths of my troubled soul
Waiting in amazement for what nature can give
As I try to mend the broken pieces inside me whole.
Though the strong crashing waves
May sound rough, igniting fear once again
I try to witness every single rage of wave
With my confused mind and worried heart
Rocks may shatter yet gradually turning to pebbles
Glistening by the shore as nature’s form of art.
The world could be unfair at times
But learn to appreciate the beauty it posses
Even the simplest things in life matters
Molding memories to embrace
Living a borrowed life and time
Love the life you live until the end of days.
