Yoh Asakura. Lazy slacker but a really big heart. Has a brother that wants to destroy all humans and create a shaman only world. Has a samurai that died 600 years ago as his guardian ghost. Sees good in everyone, sees spirits as friends and always believes things would work out. Fights to actualize his dream. To be Shaman King. In the picture, he's holding his final O. Tao Ren/Len. Heir to the Tao family. A ruthless shaman who views spirits as objects. Ren is an egotistical person and usually doesn't care that people think that he's overly proud. Until he met Yoh, did he stop being ruthless and started to care for his friends .

Horo Horo. The blue haired Ainu who Anna is always pushing around. He has a cute spirit called Kororo or Corey in the English anime. With his oversoul, he can use the air around him to make ice. But of course, he is quite dumb. But then again, he has his moments when he can be smart. He also loses his cool a lot. Ironic for someone with ice abilities.
