It was early in their age
When they found love
It was when princes met princesses
And dragons fought knights
They played all day
Talked all night
They lived in tranquility
The way children do
Then they grew up
And said their goodbyes
She lived her life
And they soon forgot
It was late in their 20s
When they met again
They smiled at each other
And uttered the word, ‘hi’
