After a horrible shipwreck, Tarini is separated from her boyfriend, Sebastian. She washes up on shore, stranded on an unknown island. A mysterious, but nonetheless handsome prince saves her and immediately feels a possessive and obsessive love for her.
The prince refuses to let her leave, forcing her to become his princess and captive of his dark, brooding castle. Tarini is desperate to escape- knowing deep inside that Sebastian is alive- but as she learns more about this troubled prince's past, she begins to care for him, realizing that the only true key keeping her prisoner is her own heart.
