Spreading this fire
Across the front seat
Yelling and screaming
Evil words leave and meet
Another heart bleeds
Can you two not see
Hurting your everything with vile words
I try to zone out
To escape the blasphemy
The only thing I hear,
What you should too,
A little boy silently crying inside for help
He hurts and yearns for it to stop
I try to help and he denies
A little soldier on the front lines
(I thought I was strong)
My music blasts
Its not enough
Another scream
"It's over! Take me home!"
You don't mean it and you know that
Escape may be easier
It's not what you want
My cap down, my music up
Tears falling down my cheeks
You don't see
You don't even look at me
Lost in this moment
Not to be bothered with what's outside your curtain
You slowly lose what you've worked so hard to get
And for what
For stupid timing and bad choice of words
No more
I'm done
With you and him
With the fire you pour gasoline
If not for my little soldier
I would have jumped
Out the door I would have walked
But now it's fine
Like it never happened
The fire was stomped out
But ash still remains
And the blood is now a stain
