Chapter 24

The next day was certainly entertaining.

Liam and I held hands as soon as we came on school grounds, getting many strange looks from people. Some were annoyed, some were envious. Nobody looked particularly against the idea, which was good I guess.

Sarah was screaming, some girls were hushing about how "All the hot guys are gay." Or something. That was the majority of conversation, it was already spreading like wildfire by the time we found Maria. She clearly hadn't heard the gossip, well she was going to get a first hand experience.

Liam let go of my hand, Maria's eyes were boring into us like a hawk, her expression was vicious. Liam looped his arm around my waist, dragging me in for a kiss.

I placed my hands on his perfect face, running the left one through his hair.

By the time we finally broke apart I sniggered at Maria's face; it was as red as a tomato and as swollen as a ballon. She stomped on the ground so hard her heels broke, the literal heel flew away as Maria fell over backwards.

Liam started laughing as he weaved his fingers through mine, and held on tight as if I would break. Then, I thought up an idea.

After briefly discussing the idea to Liam he had a bright expression on his face, immediately he was on his phone, ringing a friend.

"Hey, Jason. Yeah, we need you."

Turns out Jason was a mad hacker, he could hack into any system or interpret it differently. I had no doubt he did this on a weekly basis. How Liam found out about him: I don't know.

We were just in time for second period. Jason had finally cracked the code, giving us a microphone.

"Hello hello?" Liam asked, Jason smiled and handed me one microphone. I grabbed it, tapping it a few times.

"Hey hey."' I replied back to Liam, speaking in the microphone and saying, "Testing testing 1, 2, 3." And I knew it was working; that my voice was being broadcasted all over the schools from the speaker phones placed in every classroom and the hallways.

"Hello, this is Liam." Liam stated.

"And this is Nick." I stated along with him.

"I am here to announce that Nick and I are a proud, gay, couple. Thank you for tuning in, continue your classes." He said politely.

Just before we cut off I yelled, "Gay rights! Go the Rainbows!" And left, sniggering with happiness.

Finally I could proudly announce I was gay, not only that but Liam was by my side, which made everything okay.

Liam cuddled me into him, "I love you so much." He stated. I leaned in so close we were about a hairs-width apart, soaking in his scent and looking dreamily into his emerald eyes, losing myself in them.

"I love you too." I murmured back, closing the gap between us as we moved against - and in complete sync- with each other, kissing, not even minding that Jason was looking at us with wide, interested eyes.

"And that," Jason stayed I to the microphone, "Was the sound of Liam and Nick making out." He stated with a smile, I saw the microphone in his hands and instantly felt myself blushing, Liam looked surprised as he simple crowded me into him.

To be honest I didn't mind, as long as Liam was with me I didn't care what I faced.

He was my strength, he was my love.

He was my Liam.
