I gave you Eden, and you disobeyed me.

I gave you the Ten Commands, and you cried to be free.

I gave you kings, and you wanted your way.

I gave you prophets, and you went astray.

I gave you my Son, and you said, "He's not my type."

I gave you my Word, and you thought it tripe.

I gave you forgiveness, and you said, "From what?"

I gave you love, and you kicked and fought.

I gave you time, and you partied the days away

I gave you death, and you know it's coming one day.

I gave you a last chance, and you said, "I'm truly all in."

I gave you Heaven, and you have a grateful grin.
