Chapter 5: Ziggy's POV

Ziggy's POV

Hi! I'm Ziguel Santiaguel but they call me Ziggy. I am only 15 yrs old and nagho-home schooling ako. Sabi nila masama daw sa akin ang mapagod dahil mahina ang resistensya ko kaya di ako pwedeng mapagod. I felt so weak. So gay. I've never been in a school again since nagkasakit ako. Ang huli kong tungtong sa totoong school ay noong Grade 4 ako. Minsan nga naiisip ko di kaya nagiging over protective lang ang parents ko sa akin.

Bored na bored ako sa bahay palagi, buti na nga lang at pumupunta-punta si Azlie at Czarina sa bahay. Speaking of Azlie, gabi na kanina ko pa sya tinatawagan to come over but he wasn't answering his phone, kahit sa text. This is unusual.

*knock* *knock*

"Sir Ziggy, pinapatawag na po kayo ng mommy mo. Ready na po ang dinner."

"Ok. I'll go." I calmy said.

Pagbaba ko ng hagdan, nakita ko na nandun si Azlie na mukang kadadating lang at kausap sila mommy.

"Hey dude! Kamusta?" he shouted.

"Don't shout Azlie. Its freaking noisy."

"Okay. Sorry."

"Where have you been? I've been calling you for so nth times."

"Sorry dude we have a school activities and we're busy. In fact, I also helped a loudy girl."

"Really? That's new! So how was she? Isn't she beautiful? Did you get her number? Huh?"

"Dude. You've been so talkative?" he teased.

"Shut up! Just tell me the story. Okay?"

"Okay later dude. I'm hungry, can we eat?"

"Fine. C'mon dude."

Azlie is just like my brother. Our family is close, but his family is so busy on their business unlike my parents.

After we eat. We just headed to my room.

"So tita and tito will be out of the country again?"

"Yeah what's new?"

"Uhm. That's not new. But the new is the girl your telling a while ago."

"Dude! She's not important. Okay. Drop it."

"Psh. KJ!"

"Psh."

Ok. An angel passed by on our moment. The silence succumb us. 😂

"Dude? Pumunta na ba dito si Czarina o kaya nagparamdam man lang?"

Czarina again. She really likes our friend.

"Nope. Di pa sya nagpaparamdam. Bakit? Do you miss her? Why don't you text her?"

"Wag na lang."

"Torpe."

"What do you know about that!"

Okay fine. I never been inlove. I have crushed, but inlove, no.

Tumahimik na lang ako barado ako eh.

"Dude. I will sleep here okay."

"Go to the other room. Not here in my room!"

"Ang damot! Para naman wala tayong pinagsamahan!"

"Tell me, are you a gay?" I laughed so hard. Kumunot na ang noo nya sa sobrang asar nya sa akin.

"Me?! Ziggy hell no! Do you want me to kick your ass out dude!?"

"Hahaha! Easy dude. Fine. Sleep here but like the old ways, get the comforter. Ok?"

"I know."

Azlie is very hot headed. Napaka ikli pa ng pasensya ng taong yan. He was always been a fight when we were kids. Kaya nga lagi syang pinapagalitan nila tito dati eh. Kahit babae nga may napatulan na yan. Haha. Monster!

"Ziggy? Can you call Czarina?"

Mengk!?

"Why me? Why you don't you call her?"

"Please?" Ok. That's once in a blue moon.

"Fine!"

So I dialed her number. Ano naman kaya sasabihin ko? Busy din to lagi eh. Minsan nga nakakalimutan nya na kami. Hmmmm? Minsan nga lang ba??

"Dude. Nagriring lang. Hindi sinasagot."

"As always. Kaya ayoko tawagan napapahiya lang."

"Itulog mo na lang yan Azlie!" Sabay hagis ng unan na gagamitin nya.

So he prepared his things and the comforter on the floor. Makapal naman yun at siguradong di sya papasukan ng lamig sa likod.

Ngayon. Nakahiga na ako and the lights are off, except for the lamp shade beside me. Si Azlie naman ewan ko kung tulog na di na nagsasalita eh.

"Ziggy, tulog ka na?"

Oh he's awake.

"Oo. Kala ko tulog ka na. Di ka na nagsasalita eh."

"May iniisip lang."

I laugh softly. "Sino naman yung babae kanina sa school nyo? Ikwento mo na kasi!"

"Dude! Shut up! Hindi sya! Wala akong paki sakanya."

"Eh sino pala? Si Czarina?"

"Dude. Gusto kaya nya ako??"

"We can't tell unless you ask her."

"How?? What if she's not?"

"Haha! Dude? Your Azlie right? Asan na yung matapang na Azlie? Babae lang tatanungin mo natatakot ka na?"

"Hindi basta basta yun!"

"Uhm. Ako bahala. Malalaman natin bukas."

"Ano naman binabalak mo?! Matulog ka na nga!"
