I wonder if it seems simple,
The meaning of self expression
Is it really that easy to assign meaning
To the things that we can't call our own?

                          
I'm trying to find a safe place
My mind is an inkwell and my words,
They are the pen, 
Reaching out from my head to yours

                          
I have hope that I can reach you. 
Someone, anyone, 
My goal is to impact
And to touch if only one heart.

                          
I want to reach you
But I can only reach out so far
