· Umm Salaamah (رضي الله عنها)

· Zainab Bint Jhash (رضي الله عنها)

· Zainah bint Khuzaimah (رضي الله عنها)

· Juwairiyah (رضي الله عنها)

· Safiyyah (رضي الله عنها)

· Maimunah (رضي الله عنها)

Khadijah bint Khuwailid (رضي الله عنها)

First wive

Married her when he was 25 years old

Remained with him until Allah (SW) chose him as a messenger

Passed three years before the emigration

Sawdah bint Zam'ah (رضي الله عنها)

Married to the Prophet after death of Khadijah (R.A)

Previously married to Sakran bin 'Amar brother of Suhail bin 'Amr

Aisha bint Abu Bakr Al-Siddique (رضي الله عنها)

The Messenger (SAW) married Aisha (R.A) two years before the migration when she was six years old.

They began to live together when she was nine years old.

The Prophet (SAW) died when she was only eighteen years old.

She passed away in Madinah during the yeat 58 AH and buried in Al-Baqi according to her wishes.

Hafsah bint Umar bin Al Khattab (رضي الله عنها)

Previously married to Khunais bin Hudhafah

Prophet (SAW) wanted to divorce her but the angel Jibril came and said to him,

"Indeed Allah orders you to return back to Hafsah because she regularly fasts and she will be your wive in paradise"

Umm Habibah bint Abu Sufyan (رضي الله عنها)

Proper name: Ramlah bint Sakhr

She was among those who made the first migration to Ethopia accompanied by her first husband 'Ubaidullah bin Jahsh.

He became a Christian but Ramlah chose to remain Muslim and later got married to Messenger (SAW).

Umm Salamah (رضي الله عنها)

Proper name: Hind bint Abu Umayyah

Previously married to Abdullah bin Abdul Assad

She died in year 62 AH and buried in Al -Baqi.

She was the last wives of the Prophet to die.

Zainab bint Jahsh (رضي الله عنها)

Daughter of Prophet's paternal Aunt

Previously married to Zaid bin Harithah- Prophet's freed slave

When Zaid divorced her, Allah above the heavens married her to Messenger of Allah (SAW)

Zainab bint Khuzaimah (رضي الله عنها)

She was called "Ummul Masakin"- The mother of the destitute.

Previously married to Abdullah bin Jahsh.

The Prophet (SAW) married her in the third year if migration and she remained with him for only 2-3 months.

Juwairiyyah bint Al Harith (رضي الله عنها)

Captive from the expedition of Banu Al-Mustaliq.

Safiyyah bint Huyaiy (رضي الله عنها)

She was from the offspring of the children of Harun bin Imran, brother of Musa (Peace be Upon Them)

Previously married to Kinanah bin Abdul Huqaiq

Captive from battle of Khaibar

Messenger (SAW) freed her and married her, her manumission was her dowry.

Maimunah bint Al Harith (رضي الله عنها)

Maternal aunt of Khalid bin al Waleed and Abdullah bin Abbas

The Messenger (SAW) married her in Sarif, a place nine miles outside of Makkah.

It was there that she lived and it was there that she died.
