hi eileen,

i know you heard it from richie first, but
he caught me with emily. i really like her, eileen.
she's so pretty and smart and well, she's here.

i didn't want to break up with you over a letter, but
this is what things have come down to. i hope we
can still be friends. i hope this doesn't ruin our
group because that would suck.

i don't think we were meant to be together in the
first place, i just always felt like i was competing
for your love. with emily, she just loves me.
