Starbucks Ewha Women's University is the first Starbucks in Korea and has this golden siren logo podium-looking pillar. I used to live near Ewha and when I saw on the newspaper that the first Starbucks opened in July 1999, I was exhilirated. It was the perfect timing coz I got married to my Koreano June 1999. The first Starbucks in the Philippines opened in 1997 so I thought moving to Korea means no more Starbucks.
