I was calm once,
serene and peaceful.
A lake frozen over,
untouched, and inscrutable.
Then you crashed into my life,
a fiery meteor.
You changed my world,
my perception, my view.
I watched the feeble constructs,
of the old life fall apart.
And that was when I knew that,
nothing would ever be the same again.
So thank you.
