"Devil's Corner" (A Poem)

Walking down to devils corner

Picking plums along the way

Just walking; us two holding hands

Not really knowing what to say

Walking down to devils corner

The queen is painting her hearts red

Though she has men to do it for her

If painted wrong they're dead

Walking down to devils corner

Chesnuts falling on our minds

But not our heads ha! Oh don't bother

Leave your fickle thoughts behind

Walking down to devils corner

Mockinjays sing, we chirp the tune

But our palms are getting kind of sweaty

Damn I hope we get there soon
