Tell Me (high school AU)

(A/N: This is a lemon leading to a pregnancy in an AU where Keith is getting abused by his parents, though it'll be hinted at.)

Keith sat down at his desk looking down to hide his face. People ignore him at school because he hardly talks, he's never allowed to talk at home, otherwise he either gets a beating or a scar. Pidge was one of his only friends, aside from Shiro, Hunk and occasionally Lance. Unfortunately he always manages to hide the bruises and cuts on his face. But Pidge was always suspicious as to why he suddenly got so quiet, though it caught Shiro's attention to an extent and Lance and Hunk thought that was just Keith. Keith sat alone at lunch and didn't eat anything, like he usually did. Pidge noticed he was sitting alone with no food nearby so she took her tray and sat next to him.

Pidge: Hey Keith, you looked kinda sad earlier... are you okay?

Keith nodded. Pidge knew he was lying but didn't know what else to say.

Pidge: Uh... you can come over to my place tonight? Are you busy?

Keith shook his head.

Pidge: Alright, Matt and I will pick you up at five okay?

Keith nodded, though he turned his head slightly to smile at her, she smiled back.
Later
Pidge picked Keith up and he seemed happy to leave the house which made Pidge a little suspicious. But they set up a movie in the basement and Matt went to bed midway through while Pidge and Keith were still watching. Pidge cuddled up to Keith before feeling something on his neck, she carefully moved his shirt out of the way revealing scars and bruises.

Pidge: Keith? What are these?

Keith looked at her which is where she saw a black eye on his face.

Pidge: Where did you get these?

Keith realized that she saw the scars and hid his face quickly but Pidge pulled him back to face her.

Keith: Katie, I just got in a fight...

Pidge: What do you mean? Do people suddenly get in fights with people they ignore all the time, who made these?

Keith looked away from her ashamed.

Keith: I-I can't tell you...

Pidge: Why not?! You're getting hurt!

Keith: Because they'll do something worse if I tell anyone...!

Pidge then realized that Keith looked happy to leave the house, is suddenly quiet, and thinks something worse will happen if he tells anyone.

Pidge: Oh my god Keith... do, your parents abuse you...?

Keith looked at her and nodded ashamed.

Pidge: You can't keep going back there Keith...

Keith: I have to. I'll get in trouble if I don't go back there.

Pidge: You can stay with me, or we can call the police or something.

Keith: No, what if they find me, they'll do something worse if anyone finds out... they could hurt you too...

Pidge: Keith please...

Pidge turned his head to face her one more time.

Pidge: I don't want to see you get hurt... I love you...

Pidge softly pressed her lips to Keith's who was shocked at the gesture but gladly kissed back. They stayed there for a few moments before pulling away. They laid down on the couch and fell asleep after putting the movie away and turning the lights off.
