Awsten wasn't ashamed, no. He just knew people would treat him different. he didn't want to be different. you get hurt when you stand out. he has already been hurt enough. It's bad enough to be the only openly gay guy at Helena High, he doesn't need to be the only orphan too.

I'm writing chapter 100 and it's so cute I'm squealing at my own writing.
