(Jesse.)

It had been a pleasant suprise when she didn't try to run away or complain about much since we had left the suite. She sat quietly in the passenger seat reading through the list. She was a complex person, I couldn't figure her out. One second she was completely up tight and shouting "kidnap" until her lungs gave in and the next she was nonchalant about the entire situation. The more I tried to understand the harder it became.

I shook my head. There were a lot of things I didn't understand at the moment, the last thing I should worry about is trying to figure out women.

"Where do you want to start?" She asked, looking up from the list.

"Let's ease into it, tackle the small tasks." I suggested. I took the list out of her hands and read through it. "Like...swim in someone's pool. Easy enough." She took the list back.

"This says it has to be done naked!" She jab the paper. "That's not easing in! That's like jumping fully clothed into the pool without testing the water!" Technically it would be done naked, but I didn't say anything.

"Fine, what do you want to do?" I shoved the keys into the ignition and finally started the car. She didn't say anything for a while, she just looked over the paper. "I need to know where I'm driving to!" I shouted.

"Don't shout at me!" She jab my arm causing me pain. "We are going to..." She opened her mouth to speak and closed it again, tapping her index finger on her chin.

"Leila!!"

"Don't you rush me!" Another jab, hitting the exact same spot. The accuracy was impressive, the pain was annoying. I yanked the paper out of her hand and read through it once more. "You're driving!" She yelled, taking it back. Paper cut.

"Pick something!" I shouted back trying to over power her voice but she would match the volume every time. Most people would have been scared by a shout like that but she didn't back down. She narrowed her eyes, let out a huff to make me aware that she was annoyed and went back to thinking.

"I didn't volunteer for this," she pointed out "you dragged me in, so let me think!" She shouted back with equal force in her voice.

"You didn't exactly say no..."

"I'm sure I did." She mumbled. If I was going to be forced to be around a certain Leila Hamilton, I was going to do it my way and make it exciting. Now, I wouldn't have minded if this had been a long list, but there were probably close seven things to be done and all she had to do was pick. This could have started a lot smoother.

I gripped the steering wheel. "I swear to-"

"Easing in isn't an option here Jesse!" She huffed. "'Treat yourselves.'" She read off the paper. "You have a minute to steal as many coins from the fountain at the mall and use it to buy your outfit for the night."

"Alright, easy enough." I said to myself. I was going to need her to choose something more challenging but I wasn't going to force it.

"Yeah, let's purposely make all those people's wishes not come true." She grumbled to herself. I couldn't help but shoot her a strange look.
