Stand Out, Be Proud

Everyone's different, just look at me

I'd rather be at a paintball game then shopping at the mall

I'll be in jeans and loose t-shirts while other girls skip around in flounsy skirts and tight tops

I'll be rocking to country while others rock the bed

I don't want flowers or gifts while other girls beg for them

Take me on a walk not to the movies

I'll wear what I want, even camo converses and red pants, Let the sluts take care of the mini skirts

You may think that you'll change me

and in some ways you might

but I'm always going ot be my own person

Because guess what honey?

I'm perfectly happy with how I am and how I act.

It's who I am and who I want to be

I'll always be with the boys rough housing and wrestling while other girls will gossip and trash talk behind their "friends" backs

I'll be there when you need someone while some girls will just dump you for a different guy

If you want to see rainbows and sunshine, that's great.

But don't tell me that I don't see them when I talk about rain and puddles, because there's always two sides to a story

You can't have a rainbow without some rain

So just remember, I'm me and you are you and don't let anyone change that

We were all born to stand out and be ourselves

and I'm happy to stand out.
