Oh Haafidh...

Oh You in whose chest lies the treasure of His Kalaam...

May tonight be the beginning of the best that's yet to come...

As you take your first step forward to lead the ummah in prayer,

May you be surrounded with strength and fortitude from His Treasure...

May your heart be saturated with peace and calm...

May your fears and hesitations vanish,may you be safe from harm...

May the hearts of everyone who stands behind you be filled with sukoon,

As you recite each letter from this priceless boon.

May each word flow from your tongue with ease and beauty...

Penetrating the hearts and souls with His Grandeur and Majesty.

Go forward oh leader of the ummah with courage and zeal...

Forgiveness and Mercy we ask you on our behalf to appeal...

Have faith in He who has honoured you with this opportunity...

Oh Hafiz...may this Ramadaan be filled with Noor and purity...

As you recite may it be a means of your elevation..

And ultimately a means of the Ummah's Salvation.
