Joining (Magcon fanfiction)

Chapter 1:

Jessie's point of view:

I was sitting in class when I heard "Jessie Simmons please get ready for early dismissal". Why would I be leaving early? Is there an emergency? What's going on? Is dad okay? I stopped asking questions to myself and got ready to leave. When I walked downstairs, I saw my dad. He had a smile on his face which is good because that usually means nothing is wrong.

He said "Hi sweetie. I have some exciting news for you. I'll explain it on the car ride home."

My school was half an hour away from where I live because it's a selective enrolment school. I'm 16 years old and in high school. I don't have friends because I'm not really a social person. But people are still nice to me though. I've never been bullied before.

About a year ago I discovered an app called "Vine". It's where you make 6 second videos on anything you want. I started making vines and people loved them! I now have 690k followers on Vine.

"So what's the great news, Dad?" I asked him. I was anxious to know.

"I talked to the Magcon tour manager, Bart and you are officially joining Magcon! You're flight leaves in an hour so pack quick. I won't be coming along but I'll call you when I get the chance to. Have fun!" Said my Dad.

I was SO excited and nervous at the same time! Plus some of the guys are really cute.......

So I thanked my Dad, packed up then got at the airport and we said our goodbyes and I got onto the plane. Wow this will be fun.
