What started off as a fun day ended Kelly decided I was going to this party. I sighed and fell back on the bed my dad kept for me. Kelly was going through my bag looking for something to wear.

"Kelly, if I go I'm wearing a t-shirt." I said rolling over and checking my phone. We had only been there for a few hours and they were already trying to get me to do stuff they knew I never would.

"Malone, your wearing something cute to the party, I know it will be hard, but..." she stopped and looked at my narrowed eyes and laughed. "It will be fun, just be nice." she said.

Dakota walked into the room wearing a dark blue shirt that looked like something straight out of the marines. Her hair was pulled back into a pony tail. She didn't look to bad. I smiled at her, and she smiled back until she caught a glimpse of what I was wearing.

"What are you doing?" she asked sitting me up on the bed. "Get dressed." I grunted again.

"Guys, it's a beach party, no one cares what I'm wearing." I said throwing my feet up in the air.

"No, that's the only reason why people care." I sat up on my elbows and looked at her.

"Your lucky we don't make you go in a swim suit!" I grunted.

"At least give me a sweater." I said standing up and walking over to my closet.

"No, you have good style when you want to so pick something cute." urged Kelly. I grunted.

"Fine, get out." I said already pushing them out. They laughed and walked out.

When they finally left I got to picking my outfit. I wasn't going to pick anything to flashy, but nothing that they wouldn't approve of. I wore a black skirt with a skin tight long sleeve green sweater. I threw on Dakota's brown heels and walked out into the hallway where they were waiting for me.

"Not bad," said Dakota looking at me nodding.

"Fix your hair." said Kelly I rolled my eyes.

"What's wrong with wearing my hair down?" I asked offended. Kelly laughed.

"When's the last time you brushed it?" I looked up at the ceiling thinking.

"Alright, touche, but what should I do with it?" I asked walking into the bathroom, they followed me.

"Put it in a messy bun." said Dakota leaning against the shower. Kelly helped me put it up.

"We look good." I said looking at all of us in the mirror. "We need a picture."

Downstairs we had my dad take the picture. Kelly was wearing a gold sparkly shirt with black shorts. None of us matched each other but all our outfits went together in a way. We walked over to Devin's house and knocked on the door. It was only about 8, but we figured that would be fine.

Devin answered the door wearing a black t-shirt with green cammo jeans. Kelly and Dakota about had a fit over what he was wearing. He smiled when he saw us and let us in.

"Nice outfit." said Dakota as she stepped in.

"Love the cammo." Kelly always had something to add.

"Hey Devin." I didn't offer any complements.

"Hey, you guys are a little early. It doesn't start until 9." I laughed.

"So I could have slept for a while longer." Dakota sighed and rolled her eyes.

"Seems that way." she gave me a death glare as she spoke. "Anyway, do you need help getting anything set up?" she asked in her sweetest voice.

"Yeah, actually, come out back for a second." he said leading us to the back door.
