Prologue :

Back in my hometown, I was known as the hot headed girl. I've been in juve over ten times and I'm pretty convinced my parents have given up hope on me. And plus, I'm only the middle child. So if raising me goes too downhill, they can always try again with my younger siblings or be proud of my older ones.

This explains a lot on why they're sending me over 2000 miles away to live with my aunt.

Don't get me wrong, I love auntie Nikki but no one wants to be sent away because their parents couldn't handle them. But I'm going to change, I'm determined to make a better life here in Georgia.

A five hour plane ride from Oakland to Atlanta was defiantly not how I planned on starting my summer. California was and is my life. Yeah, I've gotten in trouble with the law, been kicked out of school and gone before a judge a few times but that's the basics of growing up here. I try to do right but it seems like wrong is following me. Seems like wrong has been following me since I was six. But ten years have passed and I'm now in an airport waiting to board a plane to go live with my aunt. She's my dad's twin sister. The two of them grew up very close but I never see her because she and my mother don't get along very well. I've personally never been my moms number one fan either but she birthed me so I'm kinda stuck with that one. I know she wasn't thrilled about me coming to live with my aunt but I also know she wants me out of trouble. I guess they fell like throwing there child on someone else will help fix things.

I had a lay over in Houston. It was only about an hour but it felt great getting to stretch my feet and walk around. I grabbed some food and went to sit by my gate. When it got close to boarding time, I noticed a guy staring at me. I was in boarding A, him in B so I didn't worry about him trying to sit by me and talk to me and ,like they all do, "get to know me". Where I'm from, I've had my fair share of get to know you ass niggas, how you doin ass niggas and can't forget the when can I come chill ass niggas. Honestly, I'm not planning on being with any one while I'm here or even making friends.

When I finally boarded the plane, I was ready to take a nap and wake up in Georgia. But of course that couldn't happen. Looks like wrong followed me outside of California. The pilot said something was wrong with the plane so everyone needs to exit. After about half an hour, we were cleared to reboard. Someone took my orginal seat and the two left were this old man who looked super creepy and by the boy who was looking at me before. I walked by the seat and asked was it taken and he replied with no and a huge smile. I sat down and put my seatbelt on.

After about ten more minutes, we were in the air. I started talking to this guy and he was pretty cool. His name was Nicholas (same as my fathers) and he was from Huston. He was going to be in a little suburb of Atlanta all summer with his grandparents. He was a surprisingly humble person. I'm always judging a book by it's cover and I'm usually right but this one was different. When we were landing, he asked me for my number. I would have given it to him but my parents took my phone away and said I'd have to earn it back from my auntie Nikki. So, I just got his number and held on to it.

After the plane ride, I got my bags and met my aunt. She looked so different since the last time I saw her but that was when I was eight.

She grabbed a bag and led me to her car. It was beautiful ! An all white Classic BMW. "You like?" She says . I was in awe .. I love it, I replied. We headed out the airport and back of her house. On our way there, she told me there was someone she wanted me to meet. Ever since I was little, she never had kids and I could really never remember a special man in her life. But maybe that's changed
