Hermione's middle name is Jean not Jane, the mistake is commonly made because of a publishing error. It is clearly stated though in Dumbledore's will, when she received the all important book, "The Tales Of Beedle the Bard".
I've got a question though, What is a Bard? I'm assuming it's a mythical creature?
