There's a tremble of the earth across the pond
Where lives break and people bleed
Crossed along their hearts of steel
Or gold beyond all that seems to be real we roam
Free of bounds and chains that permit our leave
Fly through the currents and hear them scream.
Do they see the way the light shone along his bones
Cracked and broken in shreds on the floor they shatter
Lost in a wave of paint and plaster - plastic reigns to enclose his final breath
Alone , foresaken, ragged-
Silence in the forest.
