Prologue

It spread fast.
Faster than anything anyone had ever seen before.

Like something out of a movie,
It was unreal.
Few were ready, and those that were could never have predicted what was to come.

Maybe that's why it was so destructive.
Blowing anything down in its path, like a devastating hurricane or tornado.

Only this time there was no water- there were no winds.
Only a sickness. A plague. A virus.

One that tore apart families,
forced strangers to work together,
created a united country.
And a split country.

But the scariest part wasn't the sickness in the body.
It was the sickness in the head.

But they both brought the same thing.
Death.

And the undead.
