~The Next Day~
Sal's Workshop:
*Sal puts the finishing touches on the cooling system and grabs a bag of ice out of her cooler*
*Sal grabs the cooling system and ice then walks to the hatchery*
"Knock knock!"
*Jackson opens the door, looking exhausted*
Sal: "Oh, what's up with you?"
Jackson: "I was up all night gardening. Why didn't you kno- Oh, you have the cooling system! Thanks, Sal!"
Sal: "You're welcome."
*Sal blushes slightly*
*Sal sees the tiny garden*
Jackson: "I also put some gardener crickets in there to help the plants and for lizard food."
Sal: "Nice."
Jackson: "You can put the cooling system there."
*Jackson points to a spot on the floor next to the door and generator*
Sal: "Okie."
*Sal places the cooling system on the floor and places the ice next to it*
*A cracking noise comes from the incubators*
*Jackson looks at the incubators, wide-eyed*
Jackson: "It's hatching."
Sal: "Yay! This is so exciting!"
Jackson: "It's the ice worm! Put the ice in that plastic lid over there next to the desk and I'll get the worm."
Sal: "Got it!"
*Sal puts the ice in the plastic lid and Jackson helps the ice worm out of the egg*
Jackson: "Here."
*Jackson puts the ice worm in the ice*
Jackson: "You can put the cooling system in the back of the room. Here, point it at the lid."
*Jackson puts the plastic lid in the back of the room and Sal puts the cooling system down, pointing at the lid*
Sal:" Aw, it's so cute!"
Jackson: "Yeah, it is."
*Sal leans her head on Jackson's shoulder*
*Jackson blushes slightly*
Ice Worm: "Raww rawr.."
Sal:" Aww, we should name him!"
Jackson: "Okay, what should we name him?"
Sal: "Mermie!"
Ice Worm: "Wrawr!"
Jackson: "Okay, Mermie it is."
