Chapter 4 ~ the flashback

*Brads POV*

Wow it's been a long time since I've seen Sophie but she looked better than ever! Okay back like year 10 ago I was probably about 15 I had a massive crush on Sophie we were best friends we were unbreakable if you saw me i would probally be with her but when I told her I loved her that's when everything went... wrong.

*Brads Flashback*

She was sat there laughing whilst looking at the grass... she looked so perfect. We were walking home from school and decided to go to the park for a while. Why not it was really sunny and we had nothing better to do

"Sophie"

"Yes brad?"

"Sophie... I, I like you" I was staring at the ground and then she started laughing "what?" I asked looking up at her i was worried

"I was hoping you liked me because you know I thought we were friends...best friends"

I smiled

"No Sophie...Not like that"

"Like what?"

"Sophie..." I took a deep breath Ive known Sophie for ages since year 7 do I really wanna mess up our friendship? i guess its a risk im gonna take "I love you"

She started to tear up

"Sophie? What's wrong. I'm sorry I should of never said that its just I-"

"I'm gonna miss you the most Brad" she said interrupting me

"What?" I was so confused

"I'm moving..." her tears started trickling down her face

"It doesn't matter we can still see each other and at school and stuff" I leaned forward and put my hand on her shoulder

"I'm not going to the same school any more and we won't see each other that much"

"We can see each other on the weekend...right? Wait where's about are you moving to?"

She cried even harder and put her head in her hands

"Sophie just tell me"

"Manchester"

"Oh..." I'm hardly ever gonna see her manchester is a quite a long way from Birmingham

She stopped crying

"But you know if I wasn't moving to Manchester I would of said yes" she smiled, I kinda smiled

"That's nice to know...but when exactly are you going?"

"Tomorrow..."

"Oh" I ran my hands through my hair "why didnt you tell me sooner"

"Brad i couldnt im madly in love with you i cant tell the man i love im leaving him...well i guess i just did... I'm gonna miss you" we both got up and we gave each other a hug

"I'm gonna miss you to Sophie"

We then released from the hug I was staring into her eyes and she was staring back into mine and that's when... we kissed. She then broke it

"I can't" she said running off crying

*End of flashback*

"Brad?" Connor said sitting on the opposite sofa

"Oh yeah sorry"

"Are you okay you've been acting weird"

"Have I? Oh I'm just a little bit tired"
