First Day of School

Mackenzie's POV

" Honey wake up, time to go to school," my mom said.

I groaned as I grabed my glasses from my nightstand and started heading for the bathroom. Then I remembered to grab my uniform so I can changed in the bathroom. I don't know why, but I hate changing in my room because I feel like someone might be watching outside. Once I am all changed, I go to the kitchen.

" Eat up fast, the bus will be here any minute now," she said

Oh, did I forget to mention that I will be going to Bishop Ireton High School in the MIDDLE OF THE SCHOOL YEAR!!! Like WTF!

" Mackenzie Jessica Ryan the bus is here so get moving!" my mom screamed.

" Ok mom, see you after school," I said kissing her cheek.

I grabed my backpack and headed out the door. I reached the bus on time and got in. I was looking for an empty seat and not looking at the aisle. Someone had spread their leg out into the aisle making me trip, and making my glasses fall off.

" OMG, I think we have a nerd in the house, hahahaha!" I hear someone, a girl voice, say.

" Right, Brooke, we do have a nerd in the house," I hear a boy say, but this voice sounds very familiar.

" C'mon Matt, let's go. No way am I going near her, you never know she might have nerd cooties," she said before sashaying out of the bus door, interwining her fingers with his.

Matt. That name sounds very familiar, like I've known him my whole life. But it can't be him can it?
