Chapter 13 - Just let it go

Everyone was sitting down in the living room by now. I was sitting at the edge of the couch with Marc to my right and Eric next to him. Jasper and Missy were sitting across from me. Mr. and Mrs. Rivers sat in front of us with Nick. I was listening to Aaron talk about college life and how he missed me. He was talking about how great it was to finally meet everyone. He and Eric really hit it off. I knew they would. Aaron had already planned to teach Eric how to skateboard either tomorrow or the next day. He offered to teach Jasper, Marc and Nick if they wanted. They all took advantage of the offer.

"Sam, you are going to be my assistant coach right?" Aaron asked with a grin.

"What? No. Look at my face. Does it look like I should be teaching anyone else how to skateboard? I think not." I denied with a little chuckle.

"Hey. Even the pros have bad days. That does not mean they are not one of the best. So you are helping. Get over it." He said with a laugh.

"Yeah Rosey! Please! I want you to teach me some rad moves dog!" Jasper said trying to sound cool and I stifled a laugh.

"Ummmmmm I think you could manage without me." I said

"Please. I want to be able to hang out with you while I am here. And that includes this." Aaron said giving me a puppy dog pout.

"You do not have to do anything! Just watch and observe if you want. Maybe give a few pointers and that's it. Please come!" Eric pleaded.

"I will come too. We can tease the boys about how bad they are and how they get their butts kicked by a girl!" Missy gleamed.

"Fine. Just stop begging." I caught a glimpse of Marc looking at me but I tried to ignore him.

"That my girl!" Aaron grinned pulling me into his side.

"No mister. She is my girl!" Missy laughed coming over to me and grabbing my arm. I wanted to tell them they were hurting me but I couldn't.

"No." Nick said coming over and sitting in my lap wrapping his arms around my neck. Stop please! Everything hurt so bad! These painkillers I was on wasn't doing much right now! They did help me walk though. Otherwise I would be crippled.

"She is MINE!" He smiled placing a kiss on my cheek. I could not help but to let out a small laugh at that.

"Well.....I guess I am going to have to be shared because I cannot have my guys........and girl, fighting over me." 

"Fineeeeee." Missy wined as if offended.

"Boyfriend over here wondering what the heck is going on." Jasper said with a fake look of confusion.

"Boy stop playin. You know I have to have my gay moments at least once a day to function." Missy laughed walking back over to him sitting next to him. Jasper raised an eyebrow. Aaron started laughing.

"Wait....boyfriend?" I asked with wide eyes. I saw Jasper blush and Missy smiled.

"Yeah.....Why wait when I already know she was going to be my girlfriend eventually anyway? I figured it was pointless. Plus I am kind of impatient." Jasper said chuckling.

"Ok guys. Who is hungry?" Emily asked standing up walking toward the kitchen.

"ME!" Jasper yelled jumping up running toward the kitchen. He was always hungry. But that gave mild relief as he was finally off of me.

"I think me and Sam should go see dad since I have not seen him yet. Maybe next time." Aaron said standing up. I stood up quickly trying to think of something. Ow ow mother flipping OW! Note to self, no sudden movements.
