“slow down!" I yelled to Ali as she continued to speed on her bike in front of me. I watched as her long, blonde hair whipped around in the wind.
"just peddle faster!" she yelled at me. We had just got into st Simons beach for the summer. Nothing but the beach and my best friend for a whole two months. My idea of paradise.
We were hungry so we thought we would bike into town to eat and shop a little bit. "ICE CREAM!!" Ali screamed as she jumped off her bike, running towards the tiny ice cream shop. I couldnt help but laugh as I ran to catch up to her.
We both laughed as we stumbled up the stairs. Before I knew it we had ran into a group of boys.
"woah didn't see you there love", a boy with bright blonde hair said grabbing my arm so I wouldnt fall. I blushed from embarrassment, "oh my gosh I'm so sorry! We werent paying attention."
I looked over to see Ali gaping with her mouth open. "what", I asked her as I turned to look at the boy I had ran into. My question was answered.
It was Niall Horan. The beautiful Irish boy from the band One Direction. He wasn't alone though. Behind Niall was his band mates and best friends, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne.
Louis walked over to Ali, lifting up her chin to close her mouth, "don't want to catch any bugs now do we!"
Ali just stood there smiling at him. Me & Ali were complete directioners. We both had spent many nights on twitter & YouTube fangirling over the boys standing in front of us. I couldn't help but scream inside.
"you girls okay? You look a little thrown off..", Liam said with a concerned voice.
"were fine!", I said grabbing ali's arm, "come on Ali, lets go get our ice cream."
Niall jumped in front of the door blocking us from being able to go in, "don't leave us! We dont run into beautiful girls like you very often!", Niall said with a pouty face. Me & Ali both started laughing. The boys all looked at each other confused.
"uh what's so funny?" Louis asked. "you dont run into girls like us often? Stop im gonna pee!" I said laughing harder. Ali laughed harder too, "I think I already did!"
Me & Ali quickly stopped when we saw them standing there with annoyed expressions. "it's true", liam said seriously. "sorry", Ali said quietly. " we already had some but we love to treat you guys. Ice cream on us? ", Louis said with a smile.
Me & Ali both nodded excitedly. Niall opened the door for us & me and Ali walked in quickly. We ordered our ice cream. Ali got butter pecan & I got almond mocha.
The 5 of us sat down at a table outside under a big shady tree once we got our cones of ice cream. "where are you beautys from?" Liam asked when we sat down. "we're from Atlanta", Ali answered.
"really?" Niall asked, "we were just there this past week!" "yeah", I said looking at Ali them looking at him "we know."
A smile spread across Louis' face, "you guys fans?" me & Ali looked at each other then laughed a bit. "um yes", Ali said giggling a bit.
"wow, you guys were so calm, i thought you guys had no clue who we were!" Niall said smiling too. Liam held out his hands, signaling us both to give him a high five.
We both hit is hands at the same time. We all laughed. After a minute of just laughing, we all stopped looking at eachother. This made me laugh again. Pretty hard too. The boys just smiled at me & Ali gave me a 'shut up your embarrassing me' look. I threw my hand over my mouth to silence myself but I still continued to laugh.
Niall couldn't hold it in any longer and joined my laughing fest with me. Liam, Louis, & Ali got up and walked away from us acting like we were strangers.
After laughing for a few minutes, we both calmed down. "what was so funny?" I asked wiping under my eyes so remove any make up that had ran. "I dont even know, but your laugh is the best thing I have ever heard", Niall said giving me an adoring look.
"well thanks", I said taking a lick of my ice cream. "man", I said graving my stomach, "I'm full. You want this?" I asked Niall holding out my cone. "yes!" he said grabbing it.
In just seconds, the whole cone was gone. He burped causing me to giggle, "excuse me", he said giggling a bit too. "that was like 4 thought but nice try!" I said patting his back as I stood up. "let's go meet up with them", Niall said pointing down the street.
We walked laughing about something ridiculous. When we got there, I saw Ali siting on top of a table & Liam, louis, Harry, & Zayn sitting on the ground, totally into what she was saying. I smiled knowing that this was probably the best moment of her life because I know it was mine.
"hey Ali Bali",I said jumping on the table next to Ali. "hey Sarah bear", she replied with a smile. "so...your Ali....and....your...Sarah...right?", harry said in his slow, deep voice.
"yup", I answered, "she's my best friend". 'awwwww' the boys all said in harmony. We all giggled at their mushiness. "it's hot", Ali said fanning herself. "it is", Zayn agreed, "I'd fancy a swim about now."
"well why don't you guys come to my house. We have a private pool we could swim in", I offered. The boys jumped up in excitement. "but we have no swimming trousers", Liam said. "oh liam! We got legs! We can walk back to the hotel & get them!", Louis said patting his back.
So we all agreed that they would just come over after getting what they needed. I told them how to get to the small house we were staying in &exchanged numbers.
Once they walked off, me & ali started walking to get our bikes. "oh. my. gosh.", Ali said as we began to peddle, "Is this real?!".
We both couldn't believe we ran into the boys & how we were now friends.
"Niall gots his eye on you!!", Ali sang. I stuck my tongue out at her. "Ali, they are coming to our house. Were going to swim. That means they will be shirtless", I pointed out. Ali and me both squealed at the thought of our 5 sex god idols being shirtless.
"uh Sarah", Ali began, "were going swimming too. They're gonna see us in bikinis.."
"you know what, yolo", I said peddling faster. We needed to get home so we could get ready.
