"Mija Is that you?!" I heard my dad shouting across the house from the kitchen. "Yes dad, why did you want me home so early?" I walked past the sitting room and into
the kitchen. On the way to the counter I grabbed an apple, god, I was starving. "Where's mum and everyone else dad?" I asked as I bit into the juicy apple. "They've gone to grans, to see your aunts new baby, anyways try this" He quicky shoves something in my mouth. "DAD?!" I shouted with my mouthful. "Calm down mija, I didn't serv you goats poo, well maybe I should've since you're not being nice" Seriously sometimes I feel like my dad's more childish then me. "Mm.. this is actually good.. what is it?" I asked. "Goats poo" He answerd. "Dad..." I picked up one of the tomatoe in the salad bowl and flicked it at him. "Watch it daughter of mine, I will stick this spatula in your nose and get spongebob to cook a crabby pattie and make you eat it!"
I was about to protest, when I heard a knock on the door. "I'll get it!!" I called. "You're going to have to get since I'm cooking?" I ignored his comment and went straight up to te door. "Yooooooooo, wag'wan fish man" I greeted. "Er, hey?" I recognised the familiar face... who is he.. who is he.. "Hello?" He waved his hand across my face. "You know, you look like a meercat" he chuckled. "Well at least I don't look like a donkey who's gone drunk by eating too much BBQ pringles!" I said. "Haha, you're funny" he chuckled some more. "Enough bullying me.. Who are you anyway?" I asked. He stopped laughing and wiped a fake tear away from his eyes, I rolled my eyes at his stupidness. "My name's Christopher and I just moved across the road, my mum said I should meet my next door neighbours" He answerd. "I saw you today, after school." I said changing the subject. "Yes, I saw you too." He said casually. "Yup.."
"Yeah, well, you're my new next door neighbour, so congratulations!" He said in a fake enthusiastic tone. Yup, I have a feeling we're going to be the best of friends.
