Poetry is what's written inside,

Poetry is an emotional insight.

Poetry is what comes from the soul,

Poetry is a bunch of woe.

Poetry is the beauty of nature,

Poetry is the danger of a creature.

Poetry is for you and for me,

Poetry is for all to see.

Poetry is a timeless piece,

Poetry will never cease.

As I write these lines as bold as can be,

You will end up wondering and questioning me...

Did I plan this out as I wrote it along?

Did I plan to format it as if a song?

Ho the answers to this you will never know,

But heed my tale as I tell it so...

So listen stranger as I tell you in tears,

Poetry can even be as a dark as you peers.
