Do not pity the wilting flower,
For the petals will fall
and the roots will sleep.
Do not pity the fallen rain,
For the droplets will drip
and the water will seep.
Do not pity the rising sun,
For the rays will ignite
and the Earth will heat.
More so,
Do not pity the watchful eyes,
That gaze in wonder
at the wilting flower
with new petals so tall
and now roots so deep.
