Kayla's POV

" I think I like Nick. " I told my bestfriend Hayley.
" Nick? Nick Lancaster? The boy who asked you out last year? That you turned down? That Nick?"
She asked.
" That's the one."I said as I played with my hair.
" Oh my god!" She yelled, " You finally like him!"
" Shut up my mom will hear you!" I whisper screamed at her.
" Why do you think you like him now?" Hayley questioned.
" Well," I started, " Brooke said he was gonna ask me out and she said I have to say yes because
we'd be so cute. After that I just got really excited whenever I saw him and started hoping he'd ask
me out."
" You need to tell him!" Hayley said.
" No no no! He is not going to know about this. Understand?" I said sternly.
I may be sounding bitchy right now but trust me, Hayley always embarrasses me.
" Yeah sure. No fun for me." Hayley said blankly.
" Well for once I'll be the one chasing the guy and you'll be the sidekick." I said with a smirk.
" Be quiet! I've only dated five guys this year." She replied.
" It's only November don't go patting your self on the back just yet." I said as a smile came across my face.
