Oh! What a mess. Oh! What a mess. She cried.

Took a hair in her hand and to untangle she tried.

Combing it up to down several times as she got lost in thoughts,

Thinking of the red roses that for her, always so happily you brought.

Hiding her tears in her eyes, she mirrored yet another fake smile

Being happy is something long gone, as she wasn't for quite a while.

Thinking of you by the day and making her pillow wet with tears at night

Is all she does, since her fears came true when you went away after that fight.

You loved her so much Once upon a time

But, one mistake became an unforgiving crime.

She learned to live again only because of you

And you left, like the love you shared wasn’t true.

Where are you? Where are you? Is all she needs to know

She is your Rapunzel, so sad that she lost all her cheerful glow.

Waiting for you from day to midnight sky and back to another day

Tears coming from her face, and all tangled up her hairs lay.

Come and see how your absence is killing her,

Poison would fail, compared to the pain this love stirs.

You promised you would always be together and never let her go,

Yet, everything is  falling apart and being taken away as the waves of tears flow.

If this is how long a love lasts then one should never promise forever

What’s the point in making happy for some days, only to let suffer ever and ever.

For long she has been alone and lonely, bearing the hurts that her life had unfold,

Until she met you, she never knew that something good can happen beyond her hold.

Everything faded, everything inside of her died, as you left her all alone

Yet she loves you to infinity & beyond, and that feeling will never be gone.
