I was smiling ear to ear when I open the door and expect to see her sleeping peacefully---
"Lucy? " I called out , roaming my eyes around the corners of my room
"Hey? Lucy?" As I knock at the comfort room's door
A small panic is built inside my system, no she wont be leaving.. no.
I ran my feet towards the veranda and sighed as I see her peacefully overwhelming the cold breeze of air
"Oh god, not this woman." I whispered and slowly walk upon her
and hugs her
Her lovely scent. It never changed. I moved my lips closer to her neck when she moves and removed my arms on her waist
"Evan" she was looking intently at me with her serious face
"Hmm?" I answered and tries to reach her hand but she avoided it
"Do we know each other? Or, are we friends before? The picture..." she stated and stopped. She kept on thinking
I sighed, not now. "We are.. we are bestfriends.. on our highschool days. Yeah. Bestfriend." Although my own words stab my heart, I would endure it just for her safety
Not now baby. I cant afford to lose you now. Not anymore.
She nodded and accepts my reason, "Are we that close? Why can't I remember it? I can't even remember my college days.. or even any old memories.." she said looking confused , she sighed
"Yeah. Weve been close since you transferred to the school where Ive been. Then, weve became friends.. I became friends with a nerdy geek" i snorted and her eyes widened
Damn. How could you be so adorable?
She steps closer to me and held both of my arms "Really? Im a nerdy before? I can't imagine myself wearing those big framed glasses and wearing old fashioned clothes!" She exclaimed
I can't help but to laugh "Sorry baby, but yes you are"
"Owwwwww!" She laughed too and I stopped laughing.
She stopped.
Looking at each others eyes.
Then we laughed in unison.
