''Ariah''
snore.
"Ariah"
I snored louder
"ARIAH!"
"huh what I'm up! Mommy what time is it?"
"It's 6:30."
"IN THE MORNING!?"
"WELL yeah."
"come on you gotta get up for your first day of school."
"Come on Mommy five more minutes. Please I beg of you mom."
"Nope You gotta get up."
"Alright. Can I at least take a shower?"
"Yes yes you may."
"Oh thank god."
My name is Ariah I am 5 years old and today if you have not already heard before is my first day of kinder garden. I had to get up at 6:30 in the morning and got dropped off at the school. TG Givens. I'm not like other kids who will cry or hold on to there parent's leg and say
"NO NO DON'T LEAVE MEEEEEE"
No I just walked right on in I already knew the teacher Ms.Roden her and my grandfather dated back in high school. Talk about Ew.
When every one got to class and we went through the check list.
"Johnny Lester."
"Here" he said in a high squeaky voice.
"Shelby Rhodes." Here! she in a little high voice.
While Ms.Roden went down the list of mouth breathers I felt someones eyes on me. So I turned around and a little boy wearing a gray long sleeve shirt jeans and those long socks that come half way almost to your knee White ones and gray green and black teeny shoes that had Velcro on them. I guess he didn't know how to tie his shoes. Mrs.Roden went down the list until she came to my starors name
"Cameron Dallas?"
"Here."
I felt something different about him. He looked and sounded different his voice for 1. wasn't squeaky like all the other little boys voices where. And I will admit it he was kinda cute. He was tall... Well taller than me..... Everyone is taller than me....
At lunch time I had a lunch box so I was the only one at the table until Cameron came over and sat down in front of me.
Cameron: "Hi" He said in a kind way.
"Hi" I said in a aggravated tone.
Cameron:"So how is the food? Well your food."
"Well it's mine and I packed it so it's pretty good I guess.How is your's?"
Cameron:Uh it's OK I guess.
I nodded
"Hey I have a question to ask you."
"Ask away." I said taking a bite of my sandwitch
Cameron: "Um would you like to-"
And right before he said that some girl came over and sat right next to Cameron.
"Hey Cameron do you want to be my coloring partner?"
Cameron:"Uh I was just about to ask Ariah that same question."
"Oh...." She pouted and then looked mad. "But your my friend not hers!"
"Hey I'm sitting right here genius!!!"
"Cameron she's using big words you really want to be partners with a nerd?"
I rolled my eyes and continued eating my peanut butter and Jelly sand witch and grapes.
Cameron:"You know what Shelby you uh um u I uh pf pt uh um You can't sit with us anymore!" He struggled to say then he turned to me and winked like he did something successful. I ametieily knew he was a goofball.
Shelby: "fine I don't wanna sit here with you any way." and like that she stormed off.
Cameron: "Sorry. Um were was I uh Right do you want to be my color partner for the rest of the semester?"
"Wow I'm surprised that you know what that means and yes I will."
"Bye Cameron! see you tomorrow."
Cameron: "Bye see you tomorrow."
