Life Is An Endless Battle

You say...

You say you care,

but you don't.

You say you'll be there,

but you aren't.

You ask how I am,

but don't want to know the truth.

You say I can talk to you,

But I can't.

You promise you'll listen,

You never do.

You say you understand,

But I can tell you didn't take in a word. 

You promise you'd care if I die,

but thats a risk i'm willing to take.

I know if you read this (which you won't),

you will try and fix all these things,

but you will fail.  

I hate that I love you,

I hate how you say you love me,

When I know that you don't.
