Riley's POV

"Hey Riles!" Maya shouts from her bedroom. I walk in and sit next to her on the bed.

"Yes babe?"

"Would you like to here a song I wrote?" she asks me with a smile on her face.

"Of course, I'd love to hear you sing. You have the voice of a fucking angel!"

There's a shop down the street,
where they sell plastic rings,
for a quarter a piece, I swear it.
Yeah, I know that it's cheap,
not like gold in your dreams,
but I hope that you'll still wear it.

She pulls a ring out of her pocket, and sure enough, it's a cheap plastic from a machine.

Yeah, the ink may stain my skin,
and my jeans may all be ripped.

She finishes singing and puts her guitar down on its stand. Then she gets down on one knee in front of me.

"I'm no angel, I'm just me, but I will love you endlessly. Will you marry me Riley Matthews?"

"YES YES YES YES YES!" I shout while jumping up and down. "I don't even care that that is a silly plastic ring. Of course I'll fucking marry you!"

"Well, actually Riles..." She reaches under her pillow and pulls out a navy blue velvet covered box. "You see... that plastic ring was really just for the purpose of the song. So now..." she opens the box and turns it around.

"Maya... You didn't. No way is that mine." She takes the beautiful diamond ring and places it on my ring finger.

"Of course it's yours. Only the most beautiful ring for my most beautiful girl."

Author's Note

Well guys... This is it. This is the last chapter of endlessly. The song attached was the inspiration of the title of this story. It inspired the whole story.
