I stood.
Watching.
Waiting.
It's now, I'd say about 4 am.
I've been here for about an hour...but, that's okay.
An hour really isn't that long when you're spending it with the person you love.
Even if...that said person has no idea you're there.
He really is such a silent sleeper. Not even a simple snore leaves his lips.
I step forward.
I smile as I stare down at his figure. He so adorable snuggled under his blankets.
He must feel so safe.
I raise a finger to my mouth, wetting it slightly with saliva.
I carefully bring the same finger down to meet my lovers cheek.
Gently, I trace a heart onto his pale warm skin and watch the barely visible heart dry into his cheek. Now a part of him.
"You're so pale and perfect." I whisper quietly.
"My Immortal."
