June

"Bitch! Where did you take the money?"  Aunt Marie shouted while she hold my wrist tight,

"I don't know where it is !!!" I shouted,

"You liar!!"  She uttered with a blood shot eyes,

This was a normal scene in this house,
My aunt accused me of stealing her money, but the truth is her daughter stole it and I get the blame, I get  the slaps, and all the hair pulling.

So I decided to take a break and maybe some snack,

I went outside to the nearest convenient store to buy some cotton,alcohol and some cup noodles.

Just need to cure these bruises, and to eat my heart out,

I still remember that guy I've met three days ago, all the words he said was still tattooed in my mind,

"I should keep on fighting".  I silently say to myself and took another sip of noodles and keep rubbing the cotton on my bruises,

Turn on my phone,
Plug the earphones and play a Taylor Swift song,

That witch, why I ended up with that witch, considering any option that my mother had :

1. Abandoned me on the roadside,maybe I can be a gypsy or perform at a carnival
2. Put me up on adoption, maybe I'll end up to be successful and find her when I got filthy rich
3.Sell me to the syndicate so they can sell my organs in the black market

But why!!! With that fucked up bitch and her daughter whose been raised in hell,

I'm thinking, do I have a fairy godmother? Or that guy I've met three days before was my fairy godmother or my prince that will save me from that witch,

Another sip of noodles as I look around the convenient store,
And what a surprise, there are only 3 people,
Me, the cashier and some guy in the corner eating hotdogs and drinking beer,

And I realized it was three o'clock  in the morning, so I had to go home I have duties to do,
So I stood up and walk home and prepared my thing cause I have to leave the house before they wake up, cause I don't wanna see those bitches before the morning light.

So I need to hurry up

Walk in the shower,
Take a bath
Prep my things
And leave,

I usually walk to the bay where I can spend rest of my free time until its time for the opening of the restaurant, and maybe I can meet her again in that same spot my fairy godmother slash frog prince.

But in the past 3 days, he didn't show up,
But I can't loose hope, one day we will meet again.

The restaurant wasn't busy in this time, its sunday, there is only a few people here, we just chatting here together with our co workers and I thought chicken king was world class or maybe the sign outside was lying.

Time flew past, and its closing time,

So I decided to stay on the bay then I'll go home,

I have to wait for the day the devils to sleep,

I was sitting under the lamp on the seaside, the spot were we've talked a few days ago, the sun was setting west and the bay has shown her beauty again.

I was in the silence, so I can enjoy it until a guy sits beside me,

"Hey can I join? I'm a good company?" the guy said

And I recognize the ac\dc shirt that he's wearing,

Can it be? Is he? Or maybe not, or its just a coincidence?

the only word I can reply is "Sure!"

"So why are you here?" he asked,

I'm thinking that question too,
"Just looking for someone, how about you?"  I replied,

"What a coincidence! I'm looking for someone,"  he replied,

And I'm thinking is he the one I'm Looking? The fairy godmother slash the frog prince.

"Really?" I replied,

Upon looking at him, I noticed his right foot was a prosthetic,

I asked him,"What happened to your foot?"

he looked at me and give me a smile,

"Oh, it's just cancer,"

And then a memory kicks in, I remember the person that I've talked recently, he said he has cancer and is that a coincidence too.

"oh I'm sorry," I uttered,

"it's okay," he said,

There's a chance that it could be him? Maybe, maybe not, but I need to find out whether its him or not,

But, how? Think June think,

He just look at me with his cute smile

Omg, he's cute, he's really a prince charming,
he looked at me with his eyes , and yeah I can see the stars in it,

I just stared at him, and I can't hear what he's saying the moment just slow down, and everything was perfect, like in those Nicholas sparks movie that when the girl met the boy it was just in a slow motion with songs of Mandy Moore and Ed sheeran.

"Hey?" "Why are you staring like that?" He said,

"Oh I'm sorry," I replied

wait did I daydream?

"I need to go home, its getting late, by the way I'm Christian and you are?" He said,

"Nice to meet you christian, I'm june" I said,

Christian? His name is christian?

"Nice to meet you June, oh do you work at the chicken king?" he asked,

"Oh yes! How did you know?" I uttered,

"Your wearing their uniform hahaha", he said

How silly of me, why didn't I think that
I just laugh and watch him wave at me and leave.
