Chapter 6

Sorry guys Mako is a little annoying in this chapter so sorry for all you Mako fans, he will get better, he is just bitter after the breakup

Korra POV 

After Asami left, I went to the park to relax, my wound was still healing and I couldn't do much 

"Hey korra, how are you today" mako says walking up to me but I don't answer not after what he did to Asami "Cat got your tongue" he plays

"You didn't even say sorry" I mumble 

"Sorry what was that" 

"Non of your business, now please let me be alone" 

"Why should I your business is mine" 

"I'm not interested, I don't like boys" 

"Come on you make an exception for me"

"No today bud" 

"Fine I will be back" He says finally leaving 

"Some peace" I say aloud, I sit down and get into a meditating position and then I concentrate and before I know it, I'm in the spirit world

"Hey ravaa" I great the light spirit 

"Hello korra, what brings you here" 

"I'm scared, more and more police men are coming after me, I'm just trying to help people how can they not see that"

"People can be blinded if they are scared, people are scared of you they think your abilities are limitless, and they want you out of the way, you can't show yourself to anyone or people you love will get her" ravaa explains 

"Thank you" I says as I leave the spirit world 

Once I was back I pulled my hood up and I made my way to my apartment

"Hey girl" I say as my huge white dog runs up to me 

She barks as she sniffs my black eye

"I'm fine don't worry, i have to go help someone, you keep an eye on the place for me naga" I ask the dog and sits in a lookout position

"Good girl" I walk into my room and get the stuff that Asami gave to me, It has been really handy to have the stuff and could take blows much easier, once I had my stuff on I looked into the mirror and I put my mask on, I wanted the hole world to know who I was but I couldn't risk it, i opened the window and i jumped out and air bent onto the next roof and i looked out to the city I protect yet they all hate me, sometimes I wonder why I do this, then I close my eyes and I see Asami, I do it for her, she deserves it. After that I'm ran and my day began.

Time skip(she is fighting off some muggers, the time is 6:30 it's getting dark)

I dodged their attacks, then I shot a gust of air pushing them back, I picked up the stolen bag and  returned it to the lady 

"Thank you, benders aren't that bad" she says 

"Thank you I'm trying to make a difference" I say as she leaves suddenly I'm knocked forward I turn around only to find a police man

"Please I'm just trying to help" I beg as he approaches me 

"Your not aloud to bend, it's illegal" he says then I realised it's Mako 

"I see you got yourself a job instead of doing those illegal matches" I say getting up

"I have no idea what your talking about" 

"Please, your chasing me for something you can do right firebender" I taunt him 

"Don't you dare tell anyone" 

"Why shouldn't I" i say approaching towards him 

"I will make sure" he says throwing a punch at me I dodged

"Oh pretty boy missed" he tries again but I dodge by air bending, the he shots fire at me and it hits my shoulder but I ignore it 

"Please don't tell anyone" he begs 

"Fine but you can't get in my way" I say walking away 

"Fine" he says as he goes to arrest the men I stopped 

My made my way to a roof to look at the burn, it was bad, I need get this healed, Asami will know what to do, so I made my way to her house as I arrived I knocked the window and she opens it for me 

Asami POV 

I heard a knock on my window, she's late

"Hey avatar, what's brings you here" I ask her as she walks in 

"In had a run in" she says going into my bathroom 

"With who" I ask as I follow her 

"Mako, he works for the police now and he burned me" she says showing me her shoulder 

"That's bad, one sec let me get cream for that" I say as open a draw and I get out some burn cream 

"What made him do that" I say as I apply the cream on 

"Gah, that's stings, well basically he knocked me after I took out some muggers and I told about his illegal stuff and he got mad and then he attacked me, and that's my story how are you" she says 

"I'm fine, I was texting Mako brother bolin, he felt really bad, so I forgave him and I think his brother has a crush on a girl I like and I said to bolin that she is mine, I over reacted" I admitted 

"Hah, that's funny the person you used to like, is now after the same person as you"

"Hey if you were in her situation you would be freaking out, there you go all done"

"If I was her I would choose you beautiful, thank for that cream by the way" 

I chuckle as we both get up and make our way back to my living room 

"If I told you who I was was would you over react" she asks

"Well it would depend who you are" I say sitting down 

"Well the thing is I'm scared if you found out who I was" she says lying on my lap

"I'm sure it would be that bad" I say then I realised she fell asleep on my lap that's so cute, but her mask was moved, should I look maybe just a peak

I lifted the mask of her face and....
