***Jon’s P.O.V.***

 “So, Mr. Perre, do I make myself clear?” si Dean Arevalo.

“Yes, Sir. Thank you very much.” I shook our dean’s  calloused hand. Yeah, a sign of a very hardworking man. I do admire him for that.

“Mr. Villanueva and Ms. Martinez, I entrust  into your hands the safety of these young men and women. Remember, they’re  my pride and joy.”  Nakatawang sabi ni Dean kina Sir at Miss pero alam ko, behind his smile… is a threat.

“Yes, sir. You can count on us.” Panabay na sabi ng aking mga profs.

Everything is set.  YES!  Wala nang urungan ang swimming/outing .  Yes! In fact, he gave us a two-thumbs up for the good outcome of our project. No wonder, my professors were wide-smiled.        All credits were theirs!  It was their idea, but of course! Brilliant minds… definitely.

After that,  the leader of each group and I talked for a well-coordinated  plan. That swimming/outing will take place at Batangas City and that will be a week from now.  After our much-awaited… mind boggling…Thesis ‘ Defense. 

 We did an ocular inspection of that place and our standard was highly met.

Beyond the lush vegetation are  crystal clear water, clean beachfront, comfortable and wide spaces for different ball games,  comfortable cottages, tight security and a welcoming ambience, who could say no to that!

I’m so excited. Never in my teen life that I get  too excited to go to a certain place. Ngayon lang… kasi mayroon nang dahilan para ako sumaya. (^_^) Yes, I have my friends but iba parin ang may  inspirasyon! Wow! Ako ba ‘to? Cheesy-much sabi nga ni Chris!

But  before that, I have to finish my thesis and see to it that I will finish and defend it with flying colors! I have to go to  National Bookstore first, naubusan na ako ng supply para mai-print ko na ang remaining chapters. When I got there, many girls were flocking on a certain spot.                   Yes, the Fiction section… Romance… to be specific.  Curiosity kills the cat man, I decided to take a peep. WATTPAD stories!  They were holding a small book with cute caricatures on them.             New kind of books probably. I’m a certified book-lover. I have nothing against Romance, but hey guys… I prefer mystery books  and non-fiction books.

When they noticed me, I  said hi and smiled a little. Napakamot  ng ulo ng konti. Tsismoso pa ata ang labas ko nito ah. I noticed that they suddenly have this reaction, (O-O)  (O^O) (^_^)!                   Ah-uh, it’s time to fly man. Bakit kaya ganun reaction nila. Kakahiya ah.

Malapit na ako sa bond paper section nang marinig ko ang impit nilang tilian. Napatingin ako sa kanilang way…wait almost all of the people inside looked at their way… teenagers! Napapailing na lang ako sa kanila. Nang mapadako ang tingin nila sa akin ay… I saw them blushed. Napahiya siguro! Napangiti na lang ako ng konti. Ah… It’s such a good thing to be young!

After buying, I decided to take a snack. Since light lang ang breakfast ko kanina. When I’m almost done with my burger and fries at KFC, someone caught my eye. I hurriedly gulped the remaining iced tea and walked out. I let my eyes scanned the area to proved that I was not dreaming!

There she was! My Hany!

She’s with her family… laughing at something. Her father ( Mang Ricky) had his arms wrapped around his wife( Aling Lora) lovingly while Hany had her arm looped on Inigo’s .  A picture of a happy family. A certain feeling enveloped my heart… I miss Ate Yngrid and dad suddenly. With what I saw, parang gusto ko rin nang ganoon.
